What is Middle women ministries?

Titus 2 gives instructions for older women to teach younger women “what is good” in regards to sound doctrine and godly living. Regardless of where we are in our journey, we always have someone we can learn from, and we always have someone we can encourage. Discipleship is multidirectional. We are all middle women.

With an emphasis on encouraging/equipping local women in church leadership, and fostering intergenerational discipleship in local women’s ministries, Middle Women Ministries intends to launch with a women’s conference in the spring of 2027––we will provide the opportunity for hundreds of women in the Springfield area to gather, hear solid biblical teaching, worship alongside other women of faith, and have access to additional ministries and resources.

Vision

The vision of Middle Women is to become a spiritual trellis for women in the local church: encouraging them to be rooted in the gospel, linking together as they spur each other upward in their growth in grace for the glory of God. 

As this transformative growth takes place, its effects will be seen in the fruitful flourishing of families, churches, and communities. Middle Women Ministries' vision is that in five years, local church women’s ministries will flourish with biblically literate women who are maturing in Christ, and teaching what is good to the next generation (Titus 2:3). We then seek to train and encourage leaders in women’s ministries to continue this transformative intergenerational work in sustainable ways that impact God’s Kingdom until he returns. 

Mission

Middle Women exists to equip women to engage God’s Word together, using their gifts to encourage those behind them and emulate those ahead of them. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Annual regional women’s conferences in the Springfield area that are transformative, life-giving, word-centered, and equipping in nature. 

  • Online resources for women growing in biblical literacy, intergenerational discipleship, and service in the local church. 

  • Coaching opportunities for leaders in women's ministry to gain tools and experience in teaching God’s word in their ministries and equipping their women to use their giftings for the Kingdom.
